The Antarctica Shadow Ballet and other little things...

The Never and The Little Green Pig Theatrical Concern are excited to announce a multi-media performance of The Never's 2006 release of "Antarctica, A Storybook Record" as well as brand new material from their upcoming record. Actors, dancers, puppets, film and light will conspire to bring The Never's music to life as a bold piece of total theatre.

Little Green Pig is in its third season in Durham and received an Indy Arts Award in 2008 for its adventuresome productions. Directed by Jay O'Berski and Dana Marks, LG Pig produces three to four plays a year on international themes, employing the area's strongest professional actors and designers.

The Never has been touring for the last three years promoting "Antarctica, A Storybook Record," a concept album and fully illustrated 50-page storybook. The band is also currently finishing their new record, which will be released on Trekky Records in 2009. This event will be a coalescing of both works. The Never is dedicated to the betterment of community through arts and music and has performed at schools/universities, libraries, theaters, and outdoor festivals over the last few years in order to achieve this goal.
