RLT to Stage SLEEPING BEAUTY
The next show in RLT's Youth Series is "Sleeping Beauty," directed by Judy M. Dove. A long time teacher in WCPSS and in RLT's youth program, this is her first time directing at RLT.
"Our version of Sleeping Beauty, while following the basic plot of the traditional fairy tale, focuses more on a message of forgiveness and inclusion. In addition, we have a fabulous team of designers who are collaborating to bring magic to the show," said Dove. Dove also serves on the board of the North Carolina Theatre Conference.
This is the final production in the 2014-15 Youth Series. RLT recently announced the 2015-16 season, the first planned by Patrick Torres at the helm as Artistic Director.
