NC Shakespeare Festival Announces 2009 Season
The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival's 2009 MainStage season will feature William Shakespeare's Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream. The season marks The Festival's 33rd year operating as a professional theatre company.
Macbeth will be directed by The Festival's Artistic Director, Pedro Silva, and A Midsummer Night's Dream will be directed by Steve Umberger.
The productions will perform in repertory at The High Point Theatre, 220 E. Commerce Ave., September 5 through October 4. Season Highlights include special 88.5 WFDD Public Radio Preview performances priced at only $8.85, ForeWords pre-show info-blasts 45 minutes before curtain; a High Point Enterprise Community Night featuring all tickets at $14, and SchoolFest 10:00 am matinee performances for school groups priced at $12-$14 per ticket.
