By: Julie Musbach May. 02, 2018

Theatre Raleigh ushers in the 2018 Summer Series with the classic "rags-to-riches" tale of newfound love Daddy Long Legs at the Kennedy Theatre May 16th through the 27th. This heartwarming Cinderella story about a witty and winsome young woman and her mysterious benefactor is based on the classic novel by Jean Webster. The two-person musical is a beloved tale in the spirit of Jane Austen, The Brontë Sisters and "Downton Abbey".
All shows are at the Kennedy Theatre in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are on-sale and can be purchased at http://www.theatreraleigh.com. This south-east regional premiere of Daddy Long Legs is being directed by industry veteran Megan McGinnis, who brings a wealth of experience with her.
