The production is this week! Garner has been buzzing for months about 87, the production that tells the story of Garner's 1987 win of the state football championship.

The 1987 Garner Senior High football team won the state title. A musical about a group of boys that captured the imagination of a small town and won the state football championship. Garner had a population of about 12,000, but had close to 10,000 fans in Charlotte for the title game against a team from the biggest city in the state.


If you were in Garner in 1987, re-live the memory and learn what has happened to the players since 1987. If you were not here in 1987, this is an opportunity to learn about an important chapter in Garner's history.
