THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME Comes to Portland Actors Conservatory Image

The next play of Portland Actors Conservatory's season is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. The ensemble will be directed by Beth Harper (Founder and Producing Artistic Director) and Chris Harder (Instructor and Artists Repertory Theatre Resident Artist). Based on the bestselling novel, narrated in the first-person perspective by Christopher John Francis Boone, a 15-year-old boy who describes himself as "a mathematician with some behavioral difficulties" living in Swindon, Wiltshire. After the vicious killing of his neighbor's dog, Christopher embarks on an investigation a la his hero Sherlock Holmes.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime adapted by Simon Stephens
based on the novel by Mark Haddon opens March 15th and runs until March 24th, Thursday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm. All performances take place at Artists Repertory Theatre's Alder Theatre, located at 1515 SW Morrison Street, Portland, Ore., 97205.

Tickets are available online at www.pac.edu or by calling (503) 274-1717. Ticket prices range from $5-$20. As part of Portland Actors Conservatory's Arts Accessibility Initiative, deep discounts are available to students, seniors, educators, artists, and people of color.
