Imago Theatre is holding open auditions for equity and non-equity actors, dancers, acrobatics and aerial artists for four different productions. To audition arrive at Imago Theatre. 17 SE 8th Avenue, on Wed Oct 21 at 6 PM, or on Wed Oct 28 at 6 PM to sign up for an audition slot. Auditions will take place the night you arrive. Auditionees will be seen in groups. Allow until 9PM for your audition time.

Please attend only one of the auditions (either Oct 21 or 28) not both.

If you prepare a monologue, prepare only a one-minute monologue and you may prepare any material of your choice. See below if a monologue is requested.

The Trial
An Original non-verbal work by Jerry Mouawad. Dancers, movers, actors from 18 to 55 encouraged to audition. No prepared audition material required. Rehearsal performance period Feb/Mar 2010. Stipend pay.

FROGZ
Imago's international touring production. Highly physical performers 18 to 35 encouraged to audition. No prepared audition material required. Dates TBD. Salaried.

The Visit
An original play by Carol Triffle, actors 21 and over encouraged to audition. Prepare a one minute monologue. Rehearsal & performances March/April 2010. Stipend pay.

Measure for Measure
Shakespeare's play will take place above the stage with aerialists and acrobatic performers. For this audition acrobatics and aerialists will be asked to perform tumbling exercises. If you are auditioning for a speaking role, prepare a one minute monologue. Highly physical performers 16 to 45 encourage to audition. Salaried Position. Rehearses summer 2010, opens fall 2010.
