Behind the Notes at Heinz Hall

In these concerts, the conductor will take you inside the music and reveal many fascinating details. Have you ever wondered if there was a story being told by the music or if the piece was revolutionary when it was composed?

The conductor and your PSO will spend the first half of the concert explaining and demonstrating the secrets behind the music. Then, after intermission, you will hear the complete performance of the music with an enriched understanding of its meaning.
