Theatre Harrisburg Presents THE ADDAMS FAMILY, 5/1-16

By:

Theatre Harrisburg continues its 89th season with the hilarious musical comedy THE ADDAMS FAMILY at Whitaker Center in downtown Harrisburg. Opening Friday, May 1, other performances are scheduled for May 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15 & 16. Show times are Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Saturday show times are May 2 at 4:00 p.m., May 9 at 8:00 p.m. and May 16 at 2:00 p.m. This production is sponsored by Capital BlueCross.

They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're altogether ooky - and they're on stage at Theatre Harrisburg. Those zany characters seen in Charles Addams' comic strips, television show and movies are now brought back to life in this new musical comedy. Join Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley, Grandma and the entire ghoulish gang for a rollicking celebration of all things macabre. It's a production to die for!

Theatre Harrisburg takes its slogan "Where Community Takes Center Stage!" very seriously and recognizes that current economic conditions make it difficult for many of their friends and neighbors in Central Pennsylvania to enjoy live theatre. That's why every seat in the house of all three opening weekend performances of THE ADDAMS FAMILY (May 1 - 3) is priced at only $20. Beyond that, tickets are still a very reasonable $20, $29 & $35. Tickets may be purchased by visiting or calling the Whitaker Center box office at (717) 214-ARTS.

Theatre Harrisburg's production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY stars Darren Riddle, Amy Rosenberry, Corinna Vinton, Brett Foltz, Brady Norgaard, Rebecca Bremer, Randy Stamm, Sam Krepps, Kerry Mowery, Rebecca Mease and Brendan McAlester. The Dancestors are Callie Alvanitakis, Tony Barber, Sean Carter, Aaron Cohen-Altman, Alecia Hair, Mary Katerman, Mandi Kelly, Amanda Klotz, Andrew Vinton and Ian Wallace. Dance captain is Kristi Ondo and music director is Gregg Mauroni. The entire production is choreographed and directed by Steven Flom.

This program is funded, in part, by the Cultural Enrichment Fund, the capital region's united arts fund.

Theatre Harrisburg is the Resident Theatre Company of Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts.
