The story follows the writer and main character, E.B. Janet, as she sends her husband and children away to partake in a weekend of writing. Setting her sites on a tale of erotica, she enlists a bottle of chardonnay as her coauthor for the weekend. Her fantasy builds around the relationship of a young innocent girl, Tasha Wood, and a handsome man that she finds herself involved with, Hugh Hansen. Producer Michael Mills promises "a laugh-filled evening that captures all of the escapist fun and absurdity of the novel, bringing the characters to light with creative and fun musical numbers."

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is a non-profit organization whose mission is the cultural and economic development of Pittsburgh's 14-block Cultural District through public and private support. The Trust presents and encourages diverse performing and visual arts programs within the District, and is an impetus for additional development in downtown Pittsburgh.
