Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Concerts CANCELLED Through 12/5

With the strike by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra musicians now entering its seventh week, additional symphony concerts through December 5 have been canceled, Pittsburgh Symphony Inc. announced today.

The canceled concerts and events are:

  • BNY Mellon Grand Classics: Thanksgiving Weekend with Hélène Grimaud on November 25 through 27
  • Music 101: John Moore: "It's All About the Bass" on November 30
  • BNY Mellon Grand Classics on December 2 and 4
  • Celtic Woman with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on December 5

No other Pittsburgh Symphony concerts are affected at this time.

Ticketholders will be notified as soon as possible with options for handling unused tickets, including exchanging their tickets for Heinz Hall performances later in the 2016-2017 season, donating their tickets to the Pittsburgh Symphony, or receiving a refund. The box office can be reached at 412-392-4900. The Pittsburgh Symphony website,pittsburghsymphony.org, will share the most current information and updates for patrons about the status of future concerts.
