Pittsburgh Public Theater Presents The Second City's GREATEST HITS, VOLUME 59

Summer in Downtown Pittsburgh means soaring temperatures, baseball, and the return of The Second City to The Public. This time the hilarious Chicago troupe will take the stage in Greatest Hits, Volume 59, celebrating The Second City's 60 years of being the funniest people on the planet. Greatest Hits, Volume 59 runs for three performances only at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District. Show times are Friday, August 23 at 8 pm and Saturday, August 24 at 5 and 9 pm. Cash bars will be open in The Public's main lobby and Pub, and beverages may be brought into the theater. In Greatest Hits, Volume 59, The Second City's next generation of comedy superstars will put their spin on the legendary company's best-loved sketches and zany songs, re-booted and re-imagined for today. From cutting-edge satire to world-famous improv, The Second City is always fresh, fast, and spectacularly funny. Everyone knows The Second City's alumni such as Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Joan Rivers, and Keegan Michael Key, now check out their up-and-comers in Greatest Hits, Volume 59.
