PICT's Season Finale JANE EYRE Opens Next Week At WQED PICT Classic Theatre will conclude its 2017-2018 Season with JANE EYRE, opening at WQED's Fred Rogers Studio in Oakland on April 7th.

The script for PICT's JANE EYRE has been adapted from the novel by Charlottë Bronte by PICT Artistic and Executive Director Alan Stanford, who will also direct the piece. Stanford's dramatization of the classic was originally commissioned by The Gate Theatre in Dublin where it achieved considerable box office success, as well as at The Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, establishing record ticket sales in 2007.

JANE EYRE will feature Karen Baum in the title role, with Paul Bernardo as Mr. Rochester, and James FitzGerald as Mr. Brocklehurst.

PICT's JANE EYRE will run from April 7th to April 28th, 2018, with preview performances on Thursday, April 5th and Friday, April 6th. Evening performances will begin at 7:30pm, and matinees will begin at 2:00pm. All performances will be held at WQED's Fred Rogers Studio in Oakland, 4802 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15213.

Youth 18 years of age and under are invited to attend either the 2:00pm or 7:30pm performance on Sunday, April 22nd free of charge. A $60 dinner package is available for the evening of Thursday, April 19th, which will include a 5:30pm, 3-course dinner at the Mansions On Fifth, and admission to the evening's 7:30pm performance of JANE EYRE.
