Keystone Repertory Theater (KRT), IUP's summer theater, finishes its summer season with Tennessee Williams's THE GLASS MENAGERIE. This year, William's play will celebrate it's 70th anniversary.

Tennessee Williams's classic semiautobiographical piece is explored and reimagined through narrator, Tom, and his memories. Tom directly engages with his audience and takes them back to St. Louis in 1937, where his mother, Amanda, obsesses over finding a "gentleman caller" for her daughter. IUP Theater Alumni Derrick Shane ('14) directs this American classic.

The cast, featuring 4 students and alumni of IUP, will perform at The Waller Hall Studio Theater, in Waller Hall on the Campus of IUP.

THE GLASS MENAGERIE plays tonight, August 7, through August 9 at 8pm and August 10 at 2pm.

Tickets for all the shows will be available on iuptickets.com and at the Hub Box Office located in the Hadley Union Building on the IUP Campus. More information can be found online at iup.edu/theater/krt and on Facebook, under Keystone Repertory Theater.

KRT is under the direction of IUP Alumnus, Nick Hrutkay, Artistic Director, and longtime resident of Indiana, Cheryl Randal, as Managing Director. It is based out of Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Department of Theater and Dance and funded, in part, by the Student Cooperative Association.
