Music and dance are banned in a sleepy rural community. Newcomer Chicago teen Ren McCormack takes on the town’s high-powered minister in a tough uphill battle to bring melody and movement to the local scene. Hardened hearts are transformed, the ban is lifted and it all happens just in time for the most rousing senior prom this side of the Windy City! Everyone ultimately kicks off their Sunday shoes, cut loose, footloose!
