Theater Works Supports Valley Youth During the Holidays With A Toy Drive

Kids Alive will be performing ROCK TOYZ, a rock and roll musical written by Britishman Greg Snape! Affordable and fun for the whole family! An All Electric, Rock'n'Roll Cinderella. In the big house at the top of the hill there's something very strange going on. It's way past bed time and a little girl's toys have come to life, complete with their own rock 'n' roll soundtrack! With music in the style of Bon Jovi and Cyndi Lauper this production has a rockin' 80's feel with songs like "Rock Toyz", The Rats in the Cellar" and "The Slide". Come dress as your favorite 80s rock star and enter to win tickets to A Christmas Carol. Performing December 3rd - 10th tickets for these performances are only $6.00 / person when purchased over the phone or online (prices include service and processing fees). When you purchase tickets at the Box Office and bring in a new and unwrapped toy to donate to Theater Works tickets for your entire party will be only $5 / person. Theater Works will be donating all of the toys to a locAl West Valley Charity.

In the musical ROCK TOYZ, reality has ceased, the Party has begun! All is, "Tip o' the Mark" and "Hip to that Chart" until a new Toy arrives, then the action starts. Rock Toyz blends the traditional story of Cinderella with the vibrant dance and energetic music of Contemporary Stage classics like Grease. It's a fun, fantasy tale with attitude about what happens when the Toyz from the attic meet the Ratz from the cellar, with love, leather jackets, cartoon comedy, and 150 metres of ribbon thrown in! What more can we say?

Performance times are December 3rd at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., December 4th at 1:30 p.m., December 8th at 7 p.m., December 9th at 7 p.m. and December 10th at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
