The King’s Singers Host a Special Holiday Engagement 12/9
Celebrate the holidays at Mesa Arts Center with a special concert by one of the world's most celebrated vocal groups, The King's Singers.
Described by The Times as a group that has "stayed in character over four decades, yet retuned itself to the times" and by Gramophone as "enchanting the ear from first to last note", The King's Singers are truly remarkable. This celebrated group continues to be one of the most sought-after and critically acclaimed vocal ensembles in the world. In addition to their sold-out concerts worldwide, The King's Singers have experienced phenomenal sales of sheet music with over two million pieces of print in circulation with current publisher Hal Leonard. The King's Singers' arrangements are sung by schools, college choirs and amateur and professional ensembles the world over.
With a discography of well over 150 recordings, The King's Singers have garnered awards and significant critical acclaim. Championing the work of young and established composers, they remain consummate entertainers; a class-act with a delightfully British wit. From Gesualdo and György Ligeti to Michael Bublé, The King's Singers are instantly recognizable for their spot-on intonation, their impeccable vocal blend, their flawless articulation of the text and incisive timing.
Don't miss The King's Singers in this unforgettable Holiday Concert, as the London Times states, the group is "still unmatched for their musicality and sheer ability to entertain."
