The Great Arizona Puppet Theater has announced its upcoming shows, including THE MONKEY AND THE PIRATE, OLD MACDONALD, and its ADULT PUPPET SLAM. Details below!
July 10-28"THE MONKEY AND THE PIRATE": A monkey, a pirate and a valuable banana treasure all add up to plenty of uproarious hilarity in this rollicking and rambunctious original show. Sunday, July 28
PIRATE PARRRRTY: Ahoy mateys! Join us at 2:00pm for a performance of "The Monkey and the Pirate" followed by games, prizes, a pirate parade and lots of piratical fun -- and don't forget to wear your best pirate attire! "OLD MACDONALD": There's lots of zany barnyard fun to be had with Old MacDonald and his farm animals in this silly, sing-along show! Recommended for preschool -- 2nd grade. THERE WILL BE NO SHOW ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 4.
ADULT PUPPET SLAM: Part of an ongoing series of puppet shows for grownups, the Slam brings together cutting-edge puppeteers presenting exciting short works for adults. Outrageous, moving, bawdy, controversial -- expect the unexpected! ADULTS ONLY, ages 18+. $10 if PAID at least 24 hrs in advance, $12 day-of-show. 8:00pm both nights. *The Puppet Theater will be closed Sunday, August 4 to Sunday, August 11, 2013.* Showtimes (unless otherwise noted): Wednesdays through Fridays at 10am, Saturdays at 10am & 2pm, Sundays at 2pM.
