PFAA Presents 1st Annual YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL

The Prescott Fine Arts Association is thrilled to present the First Annual Young Playwrights Festival, a playwriting competition for Quad Cities of Yavapai County K-12 students. The winning plays will be performed at Franklin Phonetic School, 6116 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, AZ, next to the Big 5 Sporting Goods Store, on the north side of the highway.
The winning plays will be performed at 2:00 with the presentation of first, second and third place playwright winners at the conclusion of the performances. After the 6:00 performances, there will be the presentation of the Grand Prize Winning Play. Each play was not to exceed 15 pages in length and only use family-friendly language. The playwriting competition has inspired students to tap into their imaginations and the exciting results are on stage March 6th.The Young Playwrights Festival is sponsored in part by Target Stores, National Bank of Arizona and the KPPV/KDDL/KQNA Hometown Radio Group.Videos
