Musical Theatre of Anthem Presents ELF THE MUSICAL, JR.

Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) announces their upcoming production of Elf the Musical JR. Based on the beloved holiday film and featuring songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. A young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts, Buddy is transported to the North Pole and raised as a would-be elf, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list, and his stepbrother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
talented cast, comprised of award winners and nominees ages 6-18, presents the show December 7-10 in Anthem. award-winning production staff includes Director Sarah Brayer, Choreographer Lyndsie Clymer, and Vocal Director Caia Decker.
