The Leahy family, a Canadian powerhouse of eight musical Brothers and Sisters, brings the sounds of the season to Mesa Arts Center Saturday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m. for a Celtic style Christmas celebration. Performing with a distinct repertoire, the Leahys will mix their favorite medleys with traditional Christmas carols, mystifying audiences with their Irish and Scottish infused music.

Previously opening for Shania Twain on her inaugural world tour, the members of the Leahy family deliver a whirlwind triple-threat of fiddle-driven music, dance, and vocals augmented by keyboards and percussion. Playing together for the majority of their lives, the Leahy's unique blend of musical genres and styles delivers a rare level of creativeness and musicianship to the stage.

The Leahys have won multiple awards, including Juno's Best New Group, Best Country Group, Best Instrumental Album, the most played folk/roots song in Canada in 2004, and the Socan award for Folk/Jazz instrumentalist in 2005.

Tickets are available through Mesa Arts Center Box Office at mesaartscenter.com or by calling 480-644-6500.
