Arizona Onstage Productions Presents LES MISERABLES

The Tony Award-winning musical triumph will mesmerize and thrill you with the epic tale of passion and redemption in 19th century France when Arizona Onstage Productions presents "LES MISERABLES" on August 9 and 10, 7pm, 15, 7pm, 16, 2 and 7pm and 17, 2pm at the Berger Performing Arts Center, 1200 E. Speedway Blvd, Tucson.

Featuring a cast of more than 40 actors, this production is directed by Kevin Johnson, with musical direction by Hank Feldman, vocal direction by Elliot Jones and choreography by Debbie Runge.

The original Broadway production was nominated for 12 Tony Awards and won eight, including Best Musical and Best Original Score. It is the world's longest-running musical, and has been seen by over 60 million people in 42 countries.

The stirring and unforgettable score includes "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Stars," "Bring Him Home," "Do You Hear the People Sing?," "One Day More," "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables," "Master of the House" and many more. Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, its music is by Claude Michel Schonberg, with original French text by Alain Boublil and English lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer.
