VIDEO: MAMMA MIA! International Tour Opens in Manila; Show Runs Now Thru 10/21 Manila, Philippines--After nearly 20 years since the show premiered in London's West End in 1999, MAMMA MIA!, the "Mother of All Jukebox Musicals," triumphantly opens (and remains a crowd-pleaser) at The Theatre at Solaire in Paranaque City. The show, in a limited engagement, runs now through October 21, 2018.

Prior to the production's first official bows, the members of the cast performed excerpts from the finale, which include two of ABBA's greatest hits "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen." (Watch the videos below!)

MAMMA MIA!, one of the most popular musicals of all time whose book is written by British playwright Catherine Johnson, features the most beloved songs of the Swedish pop group ABBA.

On its closing night on Broadway in 2015, the show, which played in New York City for more than 10 years, owned the title: Eight Longest-Running Show in Broadway History.

Leading the cast of MAMMA MIA!'s current world tour are Lucy May Barker (Sophie Sheridan), Leisha Mollyneaux (Ali), Lottie Henshall (Lisa), Helen Anker (Tanya), Nicky Swift (Rosie), Shona White (Donna Sheridan), Philip Ryan (Sky), Matt Jordan-Pidgeon (Pepper), Michael Nelson (Eddie), Daniel Crowder (Harry Bright), Matthew Rutherford (Bill Austin), Tamlyn Henderson (Sam Carmichael), and Matthew Rochetti (Father Alexander). Natalie Langston plays Donna at certain performances.

The ensemble includes Tom Bainbridge, Devon Braithwaite, Ambra Caserotti, Aine Curran, Martin Dickinson, Tilly Ford, Courtney George, Sarah Harlington, Luke Jasztal, Matt Kennedy, Stacey Leanne Mills, Hollie Nelson, Alexandra O'Reily, Ellie Rutherford, Jaydon Vijn, and Jamie Wilkin.

Mark Thompson is production designer; Howard Harrison, lighting designer; Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, sound designers; Martin Koch, musical supervisor and co-music arranger; Anthony Van Laast, choreographer, and Phyllida Lloyd, director.

Judy Craymer, Richard East and Bjorn Ulvaeus for LittleStar, along with Universal. Stage Entertainment, NGM, Lunchbox Theatrical Productions, TicketWorld, and Concertus present MAMMA MIA! In Manila.
