Of Mice and Women is a hyper-intimate performance that details the unraveling of a couple's relationship when they begin to have a problem with mice. The show is a short, 20 minute performance that will guide you through the tumultous peaks and valleys of connection and misconnection. It offers a unique, imersive audience experience as you witness the unraveling in the couple's living room.

Xora Odelle

WOMAN
Xora Odelle is a performer, director, writer, and poet. She is a native Bay Arean, but over her years of living in Philly, she has developed a fondness for the city. She is excited to be part of this season’s Philly Fringe Festival, especially with the stunning team of Of Mice and Women. She graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, concentrating in Theatre and Literature, from Hampshire College. Her recent credits include directing Goldie and the Green Mountains in the Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival and playing Enobarbus in the Fringe Festival production of Antony & Cleopatra: A Shakespeare Jawn. She is a strong believer in the power of stories to enact change in both the personal and political realms. A favorite past production of her’s was directing Marisol By José Rivera, who is one of her biggest artistic influences. She is passionate about creating art that evokes the all consuming wave of feelings that were evoked in her throughout her life and drew her to attempt a career in the arts, which, as she has been reminded throughout her life, is a moneyless field. When she’s not creating or hanging out with her cat, Princito, she can be found making patrons uncomfortable by journaling in crowded bars.


Rick Anthony

MAN
Rick Anthony is a lifelong Philadelphian who has an undying love for all things Philly! With passions in photography, bar hopping, and hip-hop, Rick is excited to get out of the house and be a part of the Fringe Festival! Appearing in two shows this Fringe, he is thrilled to further his journey into theatre alongside such a talented and knowledgeable production team. Outside of theatre and work, Rick can be found screeching lyrics at indie-pop concerts, volunteering for mental health advocacy through NAMI Philadelphia, and searching for the best brunch in the city.


Angela Trovato

Director
Angela Trovato is a performer, creator, and educator based in the Philadelphia area. Over the past decade, Angela has performed and directed in a variety of devised and traditional plays in Philadelphia and her hometown of Pittsburgh. Recent local Philly Fringe credits include Paris in Romeo and Juliet with Shakespeare on Tap and And You Will Know It's Done When The Oil Stop Bubbling. This Philly Fringe, she is co-devising Use Promo Code Hot Diggity Dog for 20% Off Your First Purchase. Recently, she taught acting and directing courses at Dickinson College. She currently teaches acting at University of Pennsylvania and acting and devising at Rider University. She holds a BA in theatre from James Madison University and an MFA in devised ensemble performance from the Pig Iron School.


Irmak Sağır

Assistant Director
Irmak Sağır is a young performance-maker, arts educator and administrator. Most recent directing credits include The Bald Soprano by Eugène Ionesco (2023) and Drowning by María Irene Fornés (2022). Most recent original performance works include This is not about that. (2024) and every. single. one. (2023). She holds a degree in Theatre with minors in Art History and Dance & Movement Studies from Hamilton College. She holds admin and teaching positions at various theaters in Philadelphia including Walnut Street Theatre, People's Light, and Quintessence Theatre Group. She is super excited to be working with the wonderful team of Of Mice and Women and to be a part of the fringe!


Anna Fiscarelli-Mintz

Marketing Director
Anna Fiscarelli-Mintz is an actor, director, musician, and theater-lover based in West Philadelphia. Recent performance credits include the 2024 Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival’s Goldie and the Green Mountains and Shakespeare in Clark Park's As You Like It. Previous directing credits include Haverford’s Spotlight Theatre Company’s As You Like It and Hamlet. Anna’s passion for supporting experimental art, independent artists, and community arts accessibility led her to pursue several administrative positions supporting artists in the Philly Fringe Festival during the 2021 and 2023 Festivals, serving as Interim Festival Coordinator and Head of the Independent Artist Department of 2023 Fringe Festival. Anna is so excited to be returning to this year’s Philly Fringe Festival with the incredibly talented team of Of Mice and Women! She will also participate in Nighthawks Theater’s Fringe Festival productions, directing a segment of The Freud Trilogy and performing in Grab-Bag Ionesco.
