In Enchanted April, four very different women decide to escape dreary post WWI London at a sea-side castle in Italy. Leaving old versions of themselves behind, they discover new desires and capacities beyond the roles imposed by restrictive notions of gender and social status. This gentle comedy depicts the power of beauty to heal and open a broken heart to love. PRESENTED BY BRYN ATHYN COLLEGE.
