EgoPo Classic Theater in Philadelphia will continue their 2021-2022 Season of Awakenings and Transformations with the world premiere adaptation of Pedro Calderón de la Barca’s Life is a Dream. The production will run from March 16th to 27th, with an official opening on Friday, March 18th, at Theatre Exile in South Philadelphia.
In this dark comedy, Reza de Wet weaves together a collection of Chekhov's iconic characters into a single musing on the end of a world. On February 1, EgoPo Classic Theater presents this great South African playwright's take on Anton Chekhov's classic, twenty years later, during the fall the privileged society. Three Sisters Two previews January 30-31 and opens Friday, February 1. The show runs three weeks, closing Feb. 17.
