The star of the Academy Award-winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee (introduced by Bette Midler), Darlene Love is an adored American musical icon.
For years Love made holiday guest appearances on the David Letterman show singing “Baby Please Come Home,” and appeared as a special guest throughout the last two decades during Bruce Springsteen tours.
Since the early ‘60s as part of Phil Spector’s “wall of sound” hit factory, and as the lead singer on “He’s a Rebel,” Darlene Love has done it all from major motion pictures like the highly successful Lethal Weapon series to Broadway hits like Hairspray and Grease! In the early years, Love’s background vocals behind The Righteous Brothers, Dionne Warwick, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Presley set the stage for her emergence as a star in her own right.
Don’t miss your chance to experience the music legend whose voice has been a part of our American soundtrack for 50 years.
