Young People's Theatre Workshop Celebrates 40 Years

Young People's Theatre Workshop is the very place where Tony Nominee Josh Young, Marcus Stevens, Kait Kerrigan, and Brian Lowdermilk all had their earliest training in the theatre arts. YPTW is celebrating its 40th year of providing high quality education to young people interested in all aspects of theatre. With a staff of professional educators dedicated to sharing their theatrical expertise in a safe, fun-filled yet challenging environment, students have been taught the value of hard work, dedication, cooperation and respect through a process centered approach, YPTW does not just put on productions. It offers classes in Improvisation, monologue prep, different types of dance, developmental levels of acting skills, and what has become a legendary class in the interpretation Broadway repertoire. YPTW also has an intense week long Overnight camp in June where young actors can develop their skills even further. .

On Sunday, September 2nd, YPTW is celebrating their first 40 years in a multi-layered event at The Players Club of Swarthmore. Tickets may be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets by searching for 'YPTW' or typing in the web address: https:/www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3556936.
