VISITING MR. GREEN Closes at The Hedgegrow Theater 2/14

Hedgerow Theatre in Rose Valley's Visiting Mr. Green, featuring Equity artists Alan Kutner and Damon Bonetti starring in Jeff Baron's multi-generational comedy, will close on February 14.

Translated into 22 different languages, Visiting Mr. Green, is one of the most produced plays in the world; and this hilarious tale of the Curmudgeon vs. The Yuppie is sure to warm the hearts of the tri-state region, thanks to thanks to its honest humor.

Equity artists Alan Kutner of Havertown as Orthodox Jew Mr. Green and Damon Bonetti of Collingswood, N.J. as executive Ross Gardiner square off as playwright Jeff Baron explores the idea that sometimes unexpected visitors are the ones we need the most.
Producing Artistic Director Penelope Reed said she "is delighted to bring this heartwarming, hilarious and touching play" to the Hedgerow stage because "it demonstrates human values at their best."

Kutner has had principal roles at The Walnut Street Theatre, Bristol Riverside Theatre, Arden Theatre and the Hedgerow Theatre. He has also been the Voice of God for The Barrymore Awards for the past 10 years.

Nominated for the 2009 Barrymore for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play as David in Orange Flower Water for Luna Theatre Company, Mr. Bonetti's recent credits also include Hate Mail at Act II Playhouse, Romeo & Juliet and the title role in Pericles (Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival), Clover (Places Ensemble Theatre/'09 Philly Fringe), Criminal Hearts (Walnut Street Theatre) and Blood: A Comedy (Passage Theatre).

Ms. Sloan's directing credits include the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival award-winning productions of Angels In America, Parts I, (the first university production in the U.S.A.), Angels in America, Part II, Quilters, Bonjour! La Bonjour, and Zalman or The Madness of God. Other directing credits include Hamlet, Richard III, The Merchant of Venice, and The Three Musketeers. She is delighted to be making her Hedgerow Theatre directing debut after performing with the company last summer in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.
