Touchstone Theatre to Present Free Corporate Creativity Event with THE MAGIC OF INTELLIGENT ENTHUSIASM
Touchstone Theatre is sponsoring its fifth Corporate Creativity Event on November 17th from 8am to 9:30am titled "The Magic of Intelligent Enthusiasm" and held at Ben Franklin Technology Partners. Admission is free; registration to bill@touchstone.org required.
Now in its fourth year, this program, which is Co-chaired by Chad Paul of Ben Franklin Technology Partners and David Shaffer of Just Born, Inc., uses Touchstone praxis as a means to explore creativity in business. Topics tackled to date are the challenge of working in groups, the need to establish a working culture of collaboration, i.e. a place where it is "alright to fail", yet "no" can be seen as a creative tool.
The upcoming "The Magic of Intelligent Enthusiasm" is a "freewheeling talk and discussion" about creativity in the work place, emceed by Touchstone Co-Founder Bill George, with three of the Lehigh Valley's most interesting entrepreneurs: Ozzie Lopez, Texas Instruments Lehigh Valley; Jon Zack, EggZack; and Michael Whitman, Micro Interventional Devices. Event attendees are encouraged to bring questions as participants explore the ever-challenging need for collaboration, courage, and willingness to nurture a work environment that allows mistakes, to do more with less, motivate co-workers, and ceaselessly create.
"The Magic of Intelligent Enthusiasm" is held on November 17th from 8am to 9:30am at Ben Franklin Technology Partners (116 Research Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18015). A light breakfast will be served. Admission is free; registration to bill@touchstone.org required.
