The Wilma Theater invites members of the Philadelphia community to join us here at the Wilma for a community gathering and reception on January 11, 2016, where we will announce and celebrate significant new initiatives that will transform the Wilma's future.

Wilma Board Chair David Loder, Founding Artistic Director Blanka Zizka, and Managing Director James Haskins will be joined by special guests -- including playwright Tom Stoppard -- to make our announcement about these transformative developments.

The event will begin with light refreshments in The Wilma Theater lobby when guests arrive. We will then invite guests into the theater to share our news, where we will hear from our Board Chair, David Loder; Tom Stoppard, whose newest play The Hard Problem receives its U.S. premiere here at the Wilma in January; and additional members of the Wilma's artistic community. All community members who are interested in attending should RSVP to tickets@wilmatheater.org.

The event will take place on January 11, 2016 at 5:00pm at The Wilma Theater, 265 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

The Wilma Theater creates living, adventurous art. We engage artists and audiences in imaginative reflection on the complexities of contemporary life. We present bold, original, well-crafted productions that represent a range of voices, viewpoints, and styles.
