The Drama Group Presents Wendy Wasserstein’s Final Play

By:

The Drama Group's spring show will be "Third" by Wendy Wasserstein

Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings, March 18 to April 2, at 8:00, in Pilling Hall at The First United Methodist Church of Germantown, 6001 Germantown Avenue, between High Street and Walnut Lane.

Is it possible that college student Woodson Bull III (call him "Third"), a conservative jock, actually wrote the intelligent, insightful and analytical essay on "King Lear" that he's passing off as his own?

Professor Laurie Jameson doesn't think so. But is her accusation justified? Or is she incapable of seeing "Third" as anything more than, as she describes him, a "walking red state"?

Liberals and conservatives alike, are targets of Wendy Wasserstein's insightful wit in "Third," her final play.

The cast of "Third" includes Zac Anderson, Colleen Bracken, Julie Chen, Marjorie Goldman and Wayne Snover. "Third" is being directed by Robert Bauer, assisted by Marc C. Johnson.

Tickets for "Third" are $15.00 and can be purchased at the door. On opening night, Friday, March 18, every ticket purchased will admit two people. A post-show discussion will be held following the performance on Friday, March 25. For more information about "Third" or to learn more
