Sean Thompson to Appear in Concert at Media Theatre Broadway actor Sean Thompson, Philly native, Temple graduate, and 2016 Barrymore Award nominee, is honored to return home to The Media Theatre for a special one-night-only concert. The Friday evening March 9 event is titled "Coming Home", and will feature Thompson performing favorites from productions he has always admired.

He is currently on tour playing Raoul, the Vicomte de Chagny in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Broadway bound Phantom Of The Opera follow-up, Love Never Dies.

On Broadway, he starred opposite Glenn Close last year in the revival of Webber's Sunset Boulevard (as the understudy to Joe Gillis). He was also proud to appear in the ensemble of that production.

Sean Thompson played Joe opposite Ann Crumb right here at the Media Theatre in 2015 under the keen eye of Mr. Jesse Cline. Sunset has been Sean and Jesse's favorite collaboration to date. Their others include Oliver! (Bill Sykes), Ghost (Carl Bruner), Les Miserables (Enjolras), and several Media Theatre galas and concerts. He wishes to thank the Media Theatre for ten years of continued artistic partnership and support, which is his purpose behind the "Coming Home" benefit concert.

Tickets for Sean Thompson in "Coming Home" Friday March 9 at 7:30 are $30 each and may be purchased at mediatheatre.org or by calling 610-891-0100.
