The annual 'Fun-Raiser', Roger Ricker's summer concert is August 14 at The Media Theatre. This year titled "Star Power" its focus is on the power of youth to surge forward in the performing arts, creating a brighTer future. Click below to watch a promo for the show!

Ricker headlines the event with special guests including The State Street Miracles, the theatre's performance troupe of adults with developmental disabilities as well as last year's "Delco Idol Junior" winner Gianni Palmarini. Other talented youth joining the fun presentation are "Hair" cast members Jason Armstrong and Lindsay Ronaldson.

"This is all about the positive power the future will have due to the youngsters who are currently studying music theatre and the performing arts," Ricker said.

This summer's "Vocalist" competition will be represented by Kiernan Clark, DerRick Ford, Brianna Jaffe, and Alex Larsen.

Several of The Media Theatre's New School students will join Ricker in the show which features a few ensemble numbers as well as soloists, duets, and classic Broadway and pop tunes.

"Artistic Director Jesse Cline gives me the chance to let what little hair I have left down each summer," Ricker said. "This is that occasion. Come on out and join us for a fun, uplifting night with a message."
