Combining theater with stand-up, Robert Dubac crashes head first into the barriers of sex, race, religion, politics and the media with THE BOOK OF MORON at Bristol Riverside Theatre on June 12 at 8:00 PM, June 13 at 2:00 and 8:00 PM, and June 14 at 3:00 PM. Tickets starting at $25 ($15 for students) are available by visiting brtstage.org or calling the BRT box office at 215-785-0100. Bristol Riverside Theatre is located at 120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, PA.

Robert Dubac, who delighted BRT audiences last year with Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?, has crafted a hysterical one man multi-character show that tackles the battle of the sexes with precision and wit. With a shrug of his shoulders or a crook of his neck, Dubac seamlessly transforms himself into five alter egos - each offering their own brand of misguided advice on how to straddle the gender gap. With mesmerizing ease, Dubac portrays multiple characters who all take turns beating the hornet's nest of hype and spin with the big stick of knowledge.

Robert Dubac draws on decades of showbiz experience as a writer, actor and stand-up comic to create one-man shows that explore political ideas, social mores and the complexity of the human experience with unparalleled wit and humor. Shifting effortlessly from one hilarious character to the next, he takes every audience on a journey into his mind-scape, letting them ride his train of thought through a route that is somehow both circuitous and direct.

He has appeared in several feature films including After the Game, Cold Ground, Sketch Artist, Stitches, Innocent Obsession and The Rookie. His TV credits range from comedic turns in sit-coms like Growing Pains and Diff'rent Strokes to drama, with appearances on programs such as Life Goes On and Jack and Mike. He has toured with Kenny Loggins, Linda Rondstadt and Jimmy Buffet.

Up next at BRT is the Summer Musicale Fest opening with An Evening with Lerner Loesser, Loewe... And Schwartz! on June 18 and runs through June 28. You've Got A Friend runs from July 16 to July 26. The series concludes with Broadway Serenade August 13 through August 23. The Calamari Sisters' are back July 29 - August 2 in The Calamari Sisters' Big, Fat, Italian Wedding.

Since 1986, BRT has brought consistently acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County and maintains a long-term commitment to finding and developing new plays. The theatre is the recipient of over 70 Barrymore Award nominations for Excellence in Theatre, given annually by Theatre Philadelphia. In addition to its Mainstage productions, the theatre serves as a cultural hub for the community, with such programs as children's theatre, community concerts and exhibitions of local visual arts. Currently under the direction of Artistic Director Keith Baker, Founding Director Susan D. Atkinson, and Managing Director Jameson Gilpatrick, BRT concludes its 28th season.
