Back again in Philadelphia by popular demand, the award-winning Beatles concert, RAIN - A Tribute To The Beatles, will return for a 4-performance weekend engagement at the Merriam Theater on Friday, June 18 at 8:00 pm; Saturday, June 19 at 2:00 pm & 8:00 pm; and Sunday, June 20 at 2:00 pm.

In a show the Denver Post calls "the next best thing to seeing The Beatles," RAIN boasts a repertoire of nearly 200 Beatlemaniac favorites, ranging from such beloved songs as "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude" to classic hits including "Revolution" and "Come Together."

Tickets range in price from $35 to $85 and can be purchased by calling 215-731-3333, online at www.kimmelcenter.org, at the Kimmel Center box office, Broad & Spruce Sts. (open daily 10 am to 6 pm), or at the Academy of Music box office (open during performances only). Special group pricing for select performances is available for groups of 15 or more by calling 215-790-5883. Performances include: Tuesday - Saturday evening at 8:00 pm; matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

RAIN covers the Fab Four from their very first Ed Sullivan Show appearance through the Abbey Road album, through the psychedelic late 60s and their long-haired hippie, hard-rocking rooftop days. RAIN is a multi-media, multi-dimensional experience...a fusion of historical footage and hilarious television commercials from the 1960s lights up video screens and live cameras zoom in for close-ups.

For the four longtime band members - Joey Curatolo (Paul McCartney), Joe Bithorn (George Harrison), Ralph Castelli (Ringo Starr) and Steve Landes (John Lennon), with a little help from their friend Mark Lewis (keyboards, percussion) - the music is first and foremost. For more than two decades, RAIN has distinguished itself by focusing on details, always being faithful to The Beatles with the ultimate goal of delivering a perfect note-for-note performance. All the music is performed live, with no pre-recorded tapes or sequences. For more information visit www.raintribute.com

The Broadway Season is presented by the Kimmel Center in association with The Shubert Organization and is sponsored by Citibank with support provided by American Airlines.

In addition to RAIN - A Tribute To The Beatles, 2009-2010 Broadway Series productions at the Academy of Music, Forrest Theatre and Merriam Theatre include: Disney's THE LION KING (March 23 - April 24); August: Osage County (April 27 - May 2) at the Forrest Theatre; Avenue Q (June 18 - 20); and Dreamgirls (June 21 - 27); and Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance (May 14 - 16) at the Merriam Theater.
