Composer/Lyricist Stephen Sondheim was at the Arden Theatre Company on Monday, June 1st, to accept the Arden's inaugural Master Storyteller Award. Scroll down for photos!
Unplanned was the power outage that caused the Arden to move the concert a few doors up to their Hamilton Family Arts Center, where chairs and a piano were set-up in the Arden's scene shop to accommodate guests. The 14-piece orchestra and several musical numbers were cut from the program.
The City of Philadelphia declared yesterday, June 1st, Stephen Sondheim Day.
