Philadelphia Theatre Company Elects Three New Board Members

Philadelphia Theatre Company is pleased to announce the election of Lynda Anne Barness, Frank Giordano, and Jordan Savitch to its Board of Directors.
"We welcome the three new Board members on the occasion of our 35th Anniversary season," said Priscilla M. Luce, President of PTC's Board of Directors. "We look forward to the variety of skills they add to our talented pool of directors."Lynda Anne Barness, from Center City, is President and Owner of I Do Wedding Consulting. Recently she was named the 2010 Best Wedding Planner by the International Special Events Society, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. She had previously served as President of The Barness Organization, a real estate development and residential construction company, and Eastern Finance Director for Arlen Specter for U.S. Senate Committee. Among her many awards and honors, she was recognized as the 2004 Small Business Person of the Year from the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and listed as part of 50 Best Women in Business in Philadelphia. She serves on the Foundation Board of Trustees at Abington Hospital, Fox School of Business MBA Advisory Board, and the University of Pennsylvania's Medicine Campaign Cabinet.Founded in 1974, Philadelphia Theatre Company is a leading regional theater company whose mission today is to produce, develop and present entertaining and imaginative contemporary theater focused on the American experience that both ignites the intellect and touches the soul.
