Peter Nero and the Philly POPS HOLIDAY POPS! 2012 Season Opens Friday 12/7
Encore Series, Inc., presenter of Peter Nero and the Philly POPS®, today announced Holiday POPS! 2012 opens on Friday, December 7th and will feature vocalist Capathia Jenkins, The POPS Festival Chorus, The Philadelphia Boys Choir, The African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas Gospel Choir and organist Peter Conte.
The second concert series of the 2012/2013 Season will be held in Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia and will be led by Artistic Director Peter Nero, now in his 34th Season with The Philly POPS.
Holiday POPS will be held on Friday, December 7 at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 8 at 3:00 p.m.; Sunday, December 9 at 3:00 p.m.; Wednesday, December 12 at 8:00 p.m.; Friday, December 14 at 3:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m.; Sunday, December 16 at 3:00 p.m.; Wednesday, December 19 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 22 at 3:00 p.m. Single tickets, full season subscriptions and three-series subscriptions are available for purchase by calling 215-893-1999 or visiting www.phillypops.org.
