PTC's Summer Comedy Series Returns with LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE, Now thru 7/7

Proving that a great show is always in fashion, Philadelphia Theatre Company closes its 2012-2013 season with Love, Loss and What I Wore tonight, June 25-July 7 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. This intimate collection of stories by sisters Nora and Delia Ephron and directed by Karen Carpenter is based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman. Like the popular book, the show uses clothing, accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories to which all women can relate. This production is presented by special arrangement with Daryl Roth.

Love, Loss and What I Wore opened in October, 2009 at New York's Westside Theatre where it broke all box office records. The production was honored with a 2010 Drama Desk Award and a Broadway.com Audience Award, and has included a rotating cast of five actresses, including Tyne Daly, Fran Dresher, Minka Kelly, Janeane Garofalo, Jane Lynch, Sherri Shepherd, and Rosie O'Donnell to name a few. The Philadelphia cast will be announced shortly. In addition to its New York production, Love, Loss and What I Wore has played in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and Sydney Australia.

Performances are Tuesday-Sunday, with opening night on Wednesday, June 26. There will be no show on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4.
