Pal Joey will be shown at Hershey Theatre on Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m. The 1957 romantic musical comedy stars Rita Hayworth, Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak. The film was loosely adapted from the musical of the same name, and features Rodgers and Hart songs including "The Lady Is a Tramp," "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" and "My Funny Valentine."

The film was nominated for four Oscars for excellence, and Frank Sinatra won the Golden Globe for his role as the wise-cracking Joey Evans. The film had positive reviews and was an instant success in 1957, ranking as one of the top 10 earning films of the year.

Many consider this the definitive Frank Sinatra movie, as he plays a singer known for being a womanizer while still being charming and funny. He meets a chorus girl, but he's still romancing a rich and lonely widow who could underwrite his dream of owning his own night club. Will he sell out for his dream of a night club, or will he finally fall for the girl of his dreams?

Tickets are $7 for general admission and available at the Hershey Theatre Box Office, located at 15 East Caracas Avenue in downtown Hershey. Also available are Hershey Theatre six-packs of tickets for $30; these tickets are valid for the entire 2011-2012 season.

The Box Office opens at 1 p.m. the afternoon of the film. A concert on the Theatre's historic four-manual Aeolian-Skinner organ precedes the film at 1:30 p.m.
