All tickets for the upcoming season will be available for $11 or a higher amount selected by the buyer.
Opera Philadelphia is bringing back its “Pick Your Price” ticket initiative for the 2025-2026 season, allowing audiences to attend performances for as little as $11. The model, which allows patrons to choose how much they pay per ticket—starting at $11—was introduced last season and will now be available for every performance in the upcoming lineup.
Anthony Roth Costanzo, Opera Philadelphia’s General Director and President, confirmed the continuation of the pricing initiative, citing its strong impact and audience demand.
“For 50 years, Opera Philadelphia has made art at the highest level, and as this visionary company continues to honor tradition and innovate, we are passionate about charting a new path for opera,” said Costanzo. “Our 2025-2026 Season embraces everything that opera is and helps us envision what it can become. It’s opera, but different.”
Costanzo noted that 67% of single ticket buyers during the first year of the “Pick Your Price” model were first-time attendees and that the model contributed to a sold-out season.
Single tickets for the season, including those at the $11 price point, will be available to the public starting Thursday, May 15. Tickets can be purchased at the Academy of Music and Kimmel Center box offices or by calling Opera Philadelphia’s Guest Services at 215.732.8400.
