Join a groupie backstage at a rock show, a newspaper blowing in the wind, a dental hygienist from Tacoma, and Napoleon Bonaparte as they explore what it means to be a young woman in 2012. This is a new play about getting lost and going electric.

Amy Frear and Chelsea Sanz are pleased to present NAPOLEON PRINCESS GROUPIE NEWSPAPER as part of this year's Philadelphia Fringe Festival. NPGN is written by Amy Frear, directed by Chelsea Sanz and has performances by Jessie Bennett, Amy Frear, Amanda Kearns, Merci Lyons-Cox and Harry Slack. All participants are Philadelphia natives, current students and/or Alumnus from Temple University and The University of the Arts.

NPGN came to fruition after Chelsea directed Amy Frear's play BLUEBEARD as part of Philadelphia Dramatists/Philly Primary's Stages play reading series. NPGN will be a gritty, gripping, intimate, funny theatrical experience.

NAPOLEON PRINCESS GROUPIE NEWSPAPER will be paying at The Laurie Beechman Cabaret Theater at 601 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19147. With performances on Saturday, September 8th at 12:30PM, 4:00PM & 7:00PM, Sunday, September 9th at 4:00PM & 7:00PM and Monday, September 10th at 6:30PM. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the Philadelphia Fringe website http://www.livearts-fringe.org/.
