NAPOLEON PRINCESS GROUPIE NEWSPAPER to Play Philadelphia Fringe Festival, 9/8-9/10
Join a groupie backstage at a rock show, a newspaper blowing in the wind, a dental hygienist from Tacoma, and Napoleon Bonaparte as they explore what it means to be a young woman in 2012. This is a new play about getting lost and going electric.
Amy Frear and Chelsea Sanz are pleased to present NAPOLEON PRINCESS GROUPIE NEWSPAPER as part of this year's Philadelphia Fringe Festival. NPGN is written by Amy Frear, directed by Chelsea Sanz and has performances by Jessie Bennett, Amy Frear, Amanda Kearns, Merci Lyons-Cox and Harry Slack. All participants are Philadelphia natives, current students and/or Alumnus from Temple University and The University of the Arts.NPGN came to fruition after Chelsea directed Amy Frear's play BLUEBEARD as part of Philadelphia Dramatists/Philly Primary's Stages play reading series.
