Metropolitan Ballet Students Win National And International Summer Study Opportunities

Metropolitan Ballet Academy is proud to announce the accomplishments of eighteen students from the Advanced Division and Boys' Scholarship Dance Programs:

• Micaelina Carter: accepted to North Carolina School of the Arts and The Ailey School; attending The Ailey School
• Juan Castellanos: accepted to Boston Ballet, Next Generation Ballet's Summer Intensive at Patel Conservatory on Tuition Merit Scholarship, and Orlando Ballet on Merit Scholarship. He has the opportunity travel to both Ireland and Cuba this summer and will attend Metropolitan's Summer Intensive.
• Eoin Daly: attending UPenn's Biomedical Research Summer Academy and Metropolitan's Summer Intensive
• Tyler Diggs: accepted to National Ballet of Canada School, San Francisco Ballet School, Orlando Ballet, Harid Conservatory and Colburn School; attending San Francisco Ballet School on full scholarship.
• Jacey Gailliard: accepted to San Francisco Ballet School on full Merit Scholarship, Washington Ballet, Orlando Ballet and Bolshoi Ballet Academy, CT; attending San Francisco Ballet School and Bolshoi Ballet.
• Michael Jastrzebski: accepted to Royal Ballet School in London, Boston Ballet School, Orlando Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet, Ballet West, Harid Conservatory, and Nashville Ballet; attending Royal Ballet School and Orlando Ballet
• Maria Karakousis: attending the Summer Intensive at Arts Ballet Theater Florida
• Tino Karakousis: accepted to Miami City Ballet and Summer Intensive at Arts Ballet Theater Florida on full scholarship; attending the Summer Intensive at Arts Ballet Theater Florida
• Alexis McDonald: attending Bolshoi Ballet Academy, NYC
• Madison Menale: attending the Artist Simply Human Summer Intensive
• Emma Morrison: attending Bolshoi Ballet Academy, NYC
• Emma Plinke: attending Bolshoi Ballet Academy, NYC
• Devon Reid: attending Orlando Ballet and Next Generation Ballet's Summer Intensive at Patel Conservatory on scholarship
• Jadyn Reid: attending the Artist Simply Human Summer Intensive
• Micah Sell: accepted to The Ailey School
• Sophia Tom: accepted to Saratoga Summer Dance, Vail Valley and Princeton Dance Theatre; attending Saratoga Summer Dance and Princeton Dance Theatre
• Natalie Valko: attending Princeton Dance Theatre
• Isabella Wu: attending Bolshoi Ballet Academy, NYC
