7 Fingers, a Montreal-based circus arts company bringing their high-energy urban acrobatics to this year's Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, will be guests on NBC's nationally televised, top-rated talent search "America's Got Talent" on Wednesday, July 20 at 9:00 p.m.

During the Festival in September, 7 Fingers will perform Traces, their show of circus feats, which The Chicago Tribune called "a gorgeously pure, loose, and personal circus." The family-friendly, suitable for all ages show includes traditional Chinese acrobatics, tumbling through hoops, leaping between giant poles, combined with skateboarding and parkour, and mixed with theater, music and contemporary dance.

Audiences will get a taste of the company's work on the July 20 live broadcast of "America's Got Talent" - now in its sixth season as NBC's breakout summer series, showcasing talented performers from across the country competing to win a one million dollar prize. The show features celebrity judges Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel, and Piers Morgan with host Nick Cannon.

Live Arts Festival-goers can see 7 Fingers' full production of Traces, presented in association with the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, at the Merriam Theater from Thursday, September 15 to Sunday, September 18. Tickets are on sale now and range from $15 to $55 with discounts for students and festival members, and can be purchased through the Kimmel Center. More information is available online at www.livearts-fringe.org or by calling the Kimmel Center Box Office at 215-893-1999.

The 15th annual Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe runs September 2 - 17, presenting 16 days of nonstop groundbreaking performances and wild creativity. The Festival features cutting-edge dance, theater, music, and interdisciplinary works by renowned artists from the U.S. and international contemporary arts scene. A platform for daring, innovative, and highly interdisciplinary artists, the 2011 lineup emphasizes the Festival's continued commitment to the development of new work with 9 World premieres, while also bringing leaders of the contemporary art world to Philadelphia stages with 3 U.S. and 3 Philadelphia premieres.
