Broadway veterans Kelly Briggs ( Les Miserables,CATS) and Jerry Christakos ( Kiss of the Spider Woman, Jekyll & Hyde) along with musical director John McMahon bring their hilarious award winning show "Lovely" a musical comedy to the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point NJ August 9th-12th.
Kelly Briggs plays Dar and Jerry Christakos plays Christy Vann deCamp in this funny gender-bending comedy filled with songs from old Hollywood Musicals,Broadway,TV Variety Shows and the great American Songbook along with original numbers.
Dar begins her show when all of a sudden who shows up? Her dear dear old old friend Christy Vann deCamp. They decide to get out the old songbook and sing them all night !
"Lovely" is 98% ballad free and 100% gluten free !
