Hideout Theatre to Offer All-You-Can-Eat Waffles, Improv, 11/21-23
The Hideout Theatre is getting ready to showcase the best of the city's improv scene and give audiences all the waffles they can eat as the theatre preps the 12th Annual WaffleFest. This annual event features an all-star line-up of Austin improvisers and all of the waffles and toppings audiences care to eat. It is set to run from Thursday, November 21-Saturday, November 23 at The Hideout Theatre, 617 Congress Ave. Tickets run $8-$12 are available online at www.hideouttheatre.com.
The 12th annual WaffleFest is a three-day improv comedy festival featuring the best of the Austin Improv scene, with all-you-can-eat waffles and toppings at every show. This event is a chance for all camps in the local improv scene to join together. This year over 25 different improv troupes from around the city will perform.
"WaffleFest is my favorite event of the year. We bring together the best performers from all the theaters in town under the banner of one ridiculous event. The waffles (and toppings) provide a sugar rush that puts everyone in a festive mood, and it becomes a wonderful time without pretense," said Hideout Artistic Director Roy Janik.
