Hershey Area Playhouse to Stage A MEMORY, A MONOLOGUE, A RANT AND A PRAYER, 3/8-10

Hershey Area Playhouse will stage a special production of A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and a Prayer by Eve Ensler on March 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. and March 10 at 2 p.m.

A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer: Writings To Stop Violence Against Women and Girls is a groundbreaking collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights, edited by Eve Ensler and Mollie Doyle.

Proceeds from the performances will benefit The Playhouse, the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg, and the charity specified by the V-Day organization.

Hershey Area Playhouse is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing residents of the community with an opportunity to participate in the creation and production of a theatrical experience. Since its inception in 1999, Hershey Area Playhouse has staged dozens of productions at numerous venues around the Hershey area. In April 2007, The Playhouse opened its new permanent home, Hershey Area Playhouse at Country Meadows.
