Harrisburg Shakespeare Co's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Closes
Gamut Theatre Group is set to present three public performances of this year's educational outreach tour of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
"Is all our company here?" This delightful Shakespearean comedy features fairies, young lovers and a crew of bumbling players trying to perform a play for the King and Queen's wedding celebration. Puck sums it up best: "Lord, what fools these mortals be!"
Recommended for ages 12 and up, Midsummer is extremely accessible, employing Gamut's unique educational outreach style of bridging the most famous scenes from the play together into an easy-to-understand story. This dynamic show is performed by seven highly–talented actors, runs 70 minutes, and each performance is followed by a talk-back discussion with the audience.
Performances are through February 26: Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 each. Call the Box Office at 717.238.4111 to reserve your tickets, or purchase them online at www.gamutplays.org.
