Camp Media Theatre is now in its second session of Summer 2013. Young campers take part in three classes daily: Acting, Music, and Dance. With three more two-week sessions to go, its educational outlook is strong due to its talented staff and instructors, who balance a fun atmosphere with encouragement, learning, and performance.

PatRick Murray returns for his second summer at Camp Media Theatre as the choreographer and dance instructor. He is headed into his sophomore year at Temple University as a Music Theatre Major. As a freshman there he performed in "Spring Awakening". He has been seen on The Media Theatre stage in "Jesus Christ Superstar", "The Jungle Book", "101 Dalmatians" and the current production of "Hair". In 2012, he was an instructor for its New School, a conservatory-style music theatre education program for youth.

Olesia Gordynsky, Camp Media Theatre's Music Director for 2013, attends Eastern University. She is a Music Education Major and a member of Turning Point, the University's touring chamber group. She is also a member of its Choir and Love Notes, a seasonal a cappella group in which she also arranges music.

Kara Mulder is the Acting Instructor. She just finished her sophomore year at The Eastman School of Music in Voice Performance. She was recently seen in Kurt Weill's "Street Scene". She has played leading roles in "Hairspray", "The Sound of Music", "Carousel", and "The King and I" and has performed frequently with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra. She studied acting at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Camp Media Theatre was created by Artistic Director Jesse Cline thirteen summers ago and has grown from three two-week sessions to five two-week sessions, educating over 200 campers per year in a fun, confidence building environment. Campers create their own scenes which they perform along with Broadway songs and creative choreography at the end of each two-week session.

The professional music theatre company which resides at The Media Theatre is Delaware County's only professional theatre company devoted entirely to music theatre. Part of its mission statement is to inspire and educate youth who have an interest in the performing arts. Along with its summer camp, it offers acting classes, voice lessons, and its New School from September to May.
